Dr. Sachin Sheth

Interventional Radiologist With Georgia Knee Institute

Sachin Sheth, M.D., RPVI is a Vascular and Interventional Radiologist with over 10 years of specialized experience in a variety of areas, including interventional oncology, vascular disease, and vein disease. Dr. Sheth combines his extensive clinical experience with a passion for personalized care.

Originally from Charleston, South Carolina, Dr. Sheth graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics and a minor in Business Information Systems from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. He went on to work for MicroStrategy in Washington, D.C., before deciding to pursue a medical career.

Dr. Sheth attended the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston, where he received his M.D. and completed an internship in internal medicine. He then attended the highly regarded Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai in New York, where he completed a residency in Diagnostic Radiology and a Vascular and Interventional Radiology fellowship.

Dr. Sheth is board-certified by the American Board of Radiology. He is a member of the American Vein and Lymphatic Society, the Radiological Society of North America, the Society of Interventional Radiology, and the Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiological Society of Europe.

He received the honor of membership on the Boston University School of Medicine Admissions Committee.

Dr. Sheth is committed to lifelong learning and advancing knowledge. He has done research in the fields of endovascular repair and stroke and published several papers regarding Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology.

Dr. Sheth specializes in genicular artery embolization (GAE), a minimally invasive, effective treatment for knee symptoms resulting from osteoarthritis.

When he’s not providing care for patients, Dr. Sheth spends time with his family and pursues several hobbies, including surfing, biking, kitesurfing, snowboarding, and supporting his favorite sports teams, the Atlanta Falcons, the UNC Tar Heels, and the Atlanta Braves.
